The course aims to transfer basic knowledge on the firm's investments analysis. The course will focus especially on the planning strategic investments and the related economic-financial analysis tools. In particular, the course will focus on the following topics: firm's strategic side and investment decisions; basic tools of capital budgeting; risk-return analysis of investment projects and the cost of capital; the managerial flexibility assessment (real options).
