LEGISLATION ON CULTURAL HERITAGE

Course objectives

In consistency with the educational purposes of the whole teaching course, aim of the teaching unit is to give students a basic knowledge and comprehension skills in the field of LEGISLATION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE, with the help of advanced textbooks. Moreover, it will make the student able to apply the acquired knowledge in an expert and reflective way, making autonomous judgments, communicating ideas, problems and reflections in a clear and correct way, and developing the knowledge required to go further in the studies. The course aims at giving to students institutional knowledge and basic juridical categories related to the laws regarding the Cultural Heritage.

Frequency
The course will be held in 21 lectures of two hours each. Attendance is not compulsory.
Exam mode
To pass the exam students need a score not below 18/30; in order to get the minimum passing score they have to show sufficient knowledge of the most important subjects involved in the discipline. Moreover students need a basic legal language awareness. To get the maximum passing score 30/30 cum laude, students have to show excellent knowledge of the subjects of the course programme and be able to link them with coherence.
