Please be informed that on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 12:00 PM, an orientation meeting for the Bachelor’s Degree in Classics will take place in the Aula di Archeologia (Faculty of Letters and Philosophy) for all first-year students.

Certamen Latinum "Nova Humanitas" – 8th Edition
Results of the Judging Committee and Award Ceremony

Please be advised that the Judging Committee for the 8th edition of the Certamen Latinum "Nova Humanitas", chaired by Prof. Francesco Ursini, has completed the evaluation of the submitted works.
The official minutes of the Committee's meeting are attached to this notice for consultation.
The results and honorable mentions awarded are structured as follows:

• Joint First Place (Ex Aequo): Awarded to the submissions by E. B. (Sapienza University of Rome) and G. G. (Scuola Normale Superiore);
• Third Place: Awarded to the submission by G. B. (University of Genoa);
• Honorable Mention: Awarded equally to the remaining entries, both in competition (B. C., B. D., T. D., D. M., T. R., A. S.) and out of competition (M. Z.).

The Committee expresses its warm and general appreciation to all participants for the high quality, originality, and dedication demonstrated.
Award Ceremony
The award ceremony will take place on Friday, November 20, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Aula Odeion of the Museum of Classical Art – Department of Antiquities, Sapienza University of Rome.
All participants are cordially invited to attend.
