Ofa: methods of fulfilling additional training obligations

No specific Additional Learning Requirements (OFA) are foreseen. However, the Degree Programme’s Quality Assurance Group monitors students’ previous academic backgrounds and incoming careers in order to identify potential challenges and design targeted measures to support the integration of students coming from different undergraduate programmes and from various Italian or international universities.

Other training activities that award credits

The programme of supplementary and integrative activities within the Degree Course is particularly diverse, fully reflecting the multidisciplinary and cross-cutting nature of both the curriculum and the teaching staff. Through these activities, students gain valuable professional experience and acquire essential tools for a holistic understanding of cultural heritage, both tangible and intangible.

Participation in the numerous initiatives promoted by the course instructors (e.g. such as workshops on various aspects of cultural heritage, laboratories for the analysis and cataloguing of archaeological materials, seminars in Oriental languages, field visits, archaeological excavations, and lecture series by visiting professors) offers students the opportunity to explore a range of professional approaches, develop practical skills, and engage with an international academic environment.

Students are required to earn a total of 12 ECTS credits through these supplementary activities. The number of credits awarded for each activity varies according to its learning objectives and the level of participation involved.
