International experiences

Sapienza offers numerous opportunities for study, research and internships abroad: in Europe and outside Europe, for short stays or longer periods, theses abroad and much more.
Study periods in European countries: Erasmus
Erasmus+ promotes transnational cooperation between higher education institutions; it funds mobility for study purposes (SMS) in all disciplines and at all levels of study (including doctoral studies) and promotes the academic recognition of studies within the European Higher Education Area.
The Erasmus+ program allows you to attend courses and pass exams, with full recognition in your academic curriculum, or to carry out research for the preparation of your bachelor's or doctoral thesis.

Internships in European countries: Erasmus + traineeship
Erasmus+ traineeships allow you to undertake internships at companies, training centres and research centers based in one of the participating countries. The program allows you to undertake full-time internships abroad, recogniZed as an integral part of your study programme. The internship can also be undertaken after graduation, provided that the selection takes place before the degree is awarded. The number of months of mobility is added to those of the Erasmus study periods, up to the maximum allowed by the program.
