Medicine and Surgery

History of Medicine: The module offers the students a historical-epistemological overview of the evolution of medicine. In addition to the essential historical stages (early civilizations, antiquity, Middle Ages and Renaissance, modern era, contemporary era), elements of medical epistemology will be addressed (concept of disease and health, medical paradigms, medical decision-making).

The exam materials will be provided by the professor of each course on the course’s Moodle page or through Classroom.
