Prerequisites
Learning Objectives
The course is designed to provide students with fundamental knowledge in dermatology and plastic surgery that every physician should possess in clinical practice.
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
Use correct and appropriate terminology related to diseases of the skin, hair, nails, and mucous membranes.
Correlate dermatological signs and symptoms with the most common and clinically significant skin diseases.
Describe the diagnostic approach and evaluation criteria for the most frequent dermatological conditions.
Identify, analyse, and present the clinical features, course, and possible complications of major skin diseases.
Perform a dermatological physical examination, accurately describing and classifying skin lesions in patients with dermatological disorders.
