Course program
The course focuses on the educational professions that can be pursued after leaving university in the educational field, analyzing the contexts, roles, functions and skills required. The objective is to help students orient themselves to the choice of university studies and to the possible occupational outcomes.
To this end, contacts (company tutors) of the organizations will be identified where students of the Sapienza Degree Courses in Education Sciences (L19) and in Pedagogy and Education and Training Sciences (LM85) can carry out internships as follows: that they can share their experiences.
The research will train in the use of qualitative research methodologies and programs for the analysis of the data collected.
The research training has as its program:
● Studying some contexts of educational work and identifying new contexts in which the educational professions are required in the current world of work
● Developing presentation forms for the possible contexts in which the educational figures are requested in order to favor the orientation of the students to the choice of the organization in which to make the field experience and the role for which one wants to train.
. select institutions and structures that are believed to be good points of reference and training for trainee students and in line with the profiles formed by the bachelor's and master's programmes;
• collect testimonials on the experience of students and company tutors;
• organize an Orientation event (using the Human library methodology) open to students enrolled in L19 and LM 85 pedagogical degree courses

There are no prerequisites
Books
Analysis of the documentation and specific literature and survey of the research conducted by the students of the exercises in previous years.
Further bibliographical and in-depth information will be provided in the course of the research work.
Teaching mode
The course will be conducted in laboratory mode, also using the Moodle platform, with the page prepared. Work requires analysis of qualitative data, production of project works and a final report

Exam mode
Production of a research report by the entire group participating in the exercise. Collective work is discussed at the end of the year in an individual/oral presentation session.
Specifically:
a) During the course, the use of the Moodle platform will allow to collect works, writings, participation in forums, execution of tasks to proceed to a formative evaluation mode (in itinere) that will be considered in the final evaluation portfolio for eligibility.
b) At the end of the course there will be an oral interview to discuss the main elements of the course and to show the ability to link and critical judgment.
The passing of the examination is expressed by a judgment of "suitability".

Additional texts and further reading will be suggested in relation to the different topics covered in the course also based on specific interests by students
On the moodle page of the course, mainly addressed to attending students, there is a space for in-depth study and discussion on some topics of the laboratory.
