The exercise involves the analysis of legislative documentation and guidelines for the training of educators 0-6. In light of the analysis, the research plan involves planning and developing empirical research in 0-6 structures to gather training needs and the impact of university education. Exercise articulation (6CFU AAF): 1. (20 hours) Theoretical study and co-construction of the research design 2. (20 hours) Carrying out field research (direct observation, administration of data acquisition tools, document analysis) 3. (8 hours credited) Documentation and writing research report.

The research exercise is conducted primarily in a laboratory setting. Participants will initially study the documentation and equipment they will use to develop group syntheses and conduct experiments in a context (nursery/preschool/school).

Compulsory attendance will be registered. A laboratory activities will lead to products of analysis, processing, and collective writing. All the documentation is then collected in the collective writing of research reports. Collective work is then discussed at the end of the year in an individual/oral presentation session.

The course will take place in laboratory mode, using the Moodle platform, with the page prepared. Construction of research tools in group activities, administration in context (school or other), use of statistical packages or for data processing and synthesis (excel). The focus of the activity is reflection on the integrated system of education and instruction for children from zero to six years of age. The approach follows the typical format of a workshop. Students will engage in field research that will allow them to become familiar with the educational work contexts within the zero-to-six system.

No prerequisite is required for this course.
