INTERNAL PRACTICAL EVALUATION INTERNSHIP

What is it?

In order to qualify to practise as a psychologist, students enrolled in LM-51 qualifying degree courses must obtain 20 credits from a Practical Evaluation Internship (TPV), of which:

-    18 credits, equal to 450 hours, consisting of professional training activities to be carried out at external institutions (public, private and third sector) already affiliated with the Faculty and supervised by a tutor within the institution (a psychologist who has been registered in the Professional Register of Psychologists, section A, for at least three years).

- 2 CFU, equal to 50 hours, carried out and managed internally within the LM-51 Degree Programme.

The internal practical assessment internship (TPV) corresponding to 2 CFU (50 hours) consists of participation in discussion groups, supervision and dynamic processing of the internship experience.

How it works
The 50 hours are structured as follows:
•    6 meetings of 4 hours each for a total of 24 hours.
•    Drafting of 1 report on a case observed during the internship for a total of 6 hours.
•    Drafting of 1 final report on the entire internship experience for a total of 6 hours.
•    Study of the theoretical material provided for a total of 14 hours.

Students complete their internship (18 credits) between the second semester of the first year and the first semester of the second year.
It is advisable to complete the internal TPV at the same time as the external internship. At the beginning of their internship, students must register via the following Google form in the list of students available for the TPV.

Registrations for the internal TPV in the October-December period must be made by 20 October.
Registrations for the internal TPV in the February-April period must be made by 2 February.
Once registration is closed, groups will be formed.
Students will then receive an email with details of the group they have been assigned to, the supervisor and the meeting times.
Internal TPVs will then be carried out in the period from February to April or in the period from October to December.
