Degree programme choice orientation

As part of the orientation activities coordinated by the degree programme, the Programme Chair, Prof. Ornella Tarola, is available to meet with prospective students. Students can contact her via email to arrange a meeting either in person or online, to receive clarifications on admission criteria or the programme structure.
During the enrolment period, the Chair also organizes a series of orientation meetings aimed at facilitating informed decision-making. These include:

  1. Meetings between students and teaching staff of the programme;
  2. Meetings between students and external professionals from the labour market, aimed at illustrating possible career paths and building awareness of employability.

These sessions present not only the main themes covered over the two-year programme but also the skills and tools relevant for professional contexts, with particular attention to quantitative and policy evaluation techniques.
In addition, opportunities for international mobility and the programme’s “excellence track” are presented and discussed in detail.
To inaugurate the academic year, a formal opening lecture is held, featuring a prominent guest speaker from either academia or the professional world. This lecture focuses on a topic related to sustainability, reflecting the programme’s core mission.
