Presentation

The Master’s Degree in Economics and Policies for Global Sustainability is equivalent to other degrees awarded within the same LM-56 class (Economics) by Faculties or Schools of Economics.

The program provides a rigorous foundation in economics and statistics, equipping students with the analytical tools necessary to understand the challenges and opportunities associated with the development of sustainable economic policies aimed at achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The degree is designed to train applied economists capable of integrating economic theory with the analysis of public policy and strategic business decisions. This is achieved through the acquisition of specific statistical competencies for the quantitative assessment and evaluation of such policies.

A distinctive feature of the program is its emphasis on interdisciplinary teaching approaches. This is realized through ‘modular’ courses that promote collaboration among economics, law, and statistics, fostering an integrated and comparative perspective across disciplines.
