Graduates holding a Master’s degree in Design, Management and Evaluation of Social Services (ProSS) are eligible to practice as Senior Social Workers (Register A) upon successful completion of the State Examination required for registration with the relevant professional body.
Throughout the course of study, students acquire interdisciplinary knowledge and skills in the fields of sociology, social welfare, law, and psychosocial studies. These competencies enable them to:

  • recognize and analyze social phenomena;
  • contextualize social phenomena within their historical background and the institutional settings in which they arise;
  • propose appropriate solutions by drawing on the resources provided by various welfare systems and their possible configurations.

Primary employment opportunities include:

  • first and foremost, positions within Public Administration, particularly in the Social Services departments of municipalities and regional authorities;
  • secondly, roles in the Third Sector and Social Enterprises;
  • lastly, the professional field is witnessing the early stages of development in opportunities for independent practice.

This program prepares students to take on strategic and managerial roles in the evolving landscape of social services.
