The lessons of Roman History III will start on February 26th 2025 and will go on with the following schedule:

During the first part of the course a recap of the milestones on Roman History I and Roman History II will be done using ancient sources, that will be read and discussed in original language. Dedicated materials will be shared through the Classroom platform.
During the first week of the course we will be reading and discussing chapter two and three of M. Beard, SPQR. A Hisotry of Ancient Rome (pp. 53-89 and 91-10).
During the second part of the course, we will focus on the later part of the Roman Empire, using the book by M.R. Salzman, The Falls of Rome.
