Research interests
Structure-function, molecular evolution and control of enzymes involved in the oxygen, nitric oxide and sulphide metabolism. The research focuses primarily on the roles of these gaseous molecules and associated reactive species in mitochondrial physiology and pathology, and in the microbial response to oxidative and nitrosative stress.
