Curriculum

Davide Comite received the Master's degree (cum laude) in Telecommunications Engineering in 2011 and the Ph.D. degree in Electromagnetics and Mathematical Models for Engineering in 2015, both from ‘Sapienza’ University, Rome, Italy, where he currently is an Associate Professor.

Prof. Comite develops research activities within the broad area of applied electromagnetics, encompassing antenna theory and design (especially for space applications), scattering, and remote sensing for Earth observation. He is principal investigator of both national and international research projects.

He teaches Electromagnetics Field Theory and Applications, and Remote Sensing for Earth Observation for university courses of the bachelor degree in Telecommunications Engineering and the master degree in Space and astronautical engineering.

Prof. Comite has published more than 70 papers in refereed international journals and more than 80 conference proceedings about antenna theory and design and remote sensing. He was visiting scholar and researcher in different international institutions.

He was a visiting scholar and researcher in different international institutions in Europe and in the United States. He is an active member of the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EuRAAP), of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRS) and of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (APs).

He is Senior Member of IEEE and Senior Member of URSI.
