Curriculum
I am an Assistant Professor of Economics (SSD: ECON-01/A) at the Sapienza University of Rome. My research interests mainly focus on environmental macroeconomics, fiscal policy, and macroeconomic modeling for policy analysis.
Previously, I was a Research Fellow at the European Commission, Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Ispra (Italy), where I managed, updated and estimated the Global Multi-country Model (GM) for Euro-Area countries. From 2010 to 2017, I also worked for Italy’s Ministry of the Economy and Finance, developing a DSGE for the Italian economy (IGEM, Italian General Equilibrium Model) and GEEM (General Equilibrium Environmental Model), a large-scale DSGE model for policy analysis including climate-energy variables.
According to IDEAS/RePEc, I am among the top 9% of economists based on publications from the last 10 years.
I got the Italian National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor in Economics (13/A1), Economic Policy (13/A2) and Public Finance (13/A3).
