Curriculum

Fabio Giulii Capponi received his Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” Rome, Italy, in 1994 and 1998, respectively. Since 1996 he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Rome “La Sapienza”, and currently he is Full Professor in the Dept. of Astronautical, Electrical and Energetic Engineering. In 1994 he passed the examination to become a Registered Professional Engineer.
In March 2003 he won a two months NATO fellowship, spent at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA). From January 2003 to august 2004 he was Visiting Scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
He has been involved, also as coordinator, in several research projects funded both from institutions such as EU, MIUR, CNR, ENEA and companies as Ansaldo Ricerche, Semikron, SIEI, RFI, Teuco, Ansaldo Breda etc.
He is author of more than one hundred papers, presented at international conferences or published on scientific journals.
