Examination Method for the "Elements of Physical Chemistry" Module (3 ECTS) – Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology
During the course (second part of the first semester), dates for the written exam during the winter exam session will be scheduled.
Past written exams available on the E-learning platform can be used for reference:

In short: the written exam consists of 4 questions—2 worth 9 points and 2 worth 6 points. The available time is usually 2 hours, and a formula sheet (also available on E-learning) containing physical constants and key equations will be provided.
If the exam is passed, the grade for the "Elements of Physical Chemistry" module will be averaged with the "Analytical Chemistry" module, and the final grade will be recorded jointly by the instructor of the latter module.
For subsequent exam sessions, the assessment will be conducted through a 15-minute oral exam covering the same topics as the written test. If more than 8 students wish to take the exam in the same session, a written test will be organized.
Given the highly variable number of students interested in taking the exam in a given session, and the fact that the instructor for this module cannot monitor exam sign-ups on Infostud (as not responsible for grade recording), it is very important that, in addition to registering for the exam on Infostud (which is necessary for grade recording), students also send an email to alessandra.delgiudice@uniroma1.it to express their intention to take the exam.
