The European Researchers' Night (ERN) is a Horizon Europe project, implemented through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, which has taken place every year since 2005 in more than 400 cities in the European Union, involving more than 2 million visitors, hundreds of researchers, numerous Research Centers, Institutions, Universities, Associations, and other entities engaged in science dissemination.  Sapienza participates in ERN initiatives within the "Science Together NET" Consortium [www.scienzainsieme.it], which includes various entities including CNR, INAF, INFN, CINECA, ENEA, INGV, Tor Vergata University, etc.

The many activities will cover topics at the heart of Horizon Europe and other research topics: causes and effects of global warming, environmental protection, the challenges of the infinitely large/small, modeling reality as a tool for predicting various phenomena, and the role of women scientists. All activities will be carried out by faculty, doctoral students and students mainly from SMFN faculty. Special attention will be paid to young people and the entire school world. Activities are planned to be carried out by researchers with the aim of engaging the new generation in the passion and curiosity for science, through workshops and games to entertain students in a fun and exciting way.

MUSEUM MAY 2023. The museums of the Sapienza Museum Complex are ready, as per tradition, to open their doors to the entire community on the occasion of "May Museums," with a calendar full of activities aimed at everyone: adults, families, children, and students.

On May 13, on the occasion of Museum Night 2023, from 3 p.m. to midnight, museums will welcome visitors inside their spaces in a completely free and easily accessible way, starting with the possibility of parking inside the university campus. From 8 p.m. to midnight, Sapienza Museums' activities are part of the program of initiatives promoted by Museum Night, sponsored by Roma Capitale. On the occasion of the event, the museums of the University City will show themselves as a workshop space, open and inclusive, giving everyone the opportunity to take part in a moment of discovery, fun and encounter. Guided tours, playful-educational workshops, seminars and artistic performances will enliven the museums within University City, which will become a place for adults and children, families and young people to learn, experience and play in the name of culture and fun.
