Curriculum

Paolo Monti holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome (Italy). He is full professor (hydraulic division) in the Department of Civil, Constructional and Environmental Engineering (DICEA) at Sapienza. He is the Coordinator of the PhD program in Environmental and Hydraulics Engineering. He is the head of the Hydraulics Laboratory of DICEA. His main area of expertise is environmental fluid mechanics, e.g., pollutant dispersion in the atmosphere and oceans, turbulence and mixing in stably stratified flows, and urban fluid mechanics. He has published 50+ papers in international peer-reviewed journals. He graduated 8 PhD students.
