Urgent:Dear Students, I am so sorry to inform you that, due to University lack of available rooms for the exam,, the exam session scheduled for Tuesday 26 February 2025 is postponed to Friday 7 March 2025, Edificio Marco Polo, Room T.03 at 9.00 am. I do apologize for the inconvenience caused to your personal schedule but this is independent of our will, considering the huge number of students registered for this session and the impossibility to deliver the entire session in one, unique day. I really thank your understanding and, again, my apologies. Kind regards Prof. JL. Touadi Dear students, I am pleased to confirm the examination session next Friday, 21 February 2025, at 9.00 a.m. in Marco Polo Building T. 103 I would, however, like to inform all students that there are 118 candidates registered for this session. From my experience it is impossible to interview everyone on this day. In the last sessions we managed with a tour de force to question about 60 students with long hours of waiting very tiring for the students and the lecturer. Therefore, I would like to warn that I will start questioning students in the strict order of the infostud list starting with Ulzhan Abeuova until Nadejda Molochnikov (First Goup) on 21 February 2025 at 9.00 a.m. in Marco Polo Building T. 103; And the rest of the students from Rotua Angel Monika to Aina KabylbeKovna (Second Group) on 28 February 2025 at 9.00 a.m. Room T03. I do not intend to allow exceptions because my experience from last session taught me that this creates great confusion and leads to delays in questioning. I will therefore strictly follow the order of the list. I invite students to carefully observe their position on the list to plan their presence in the classroom. The list is attached here in my Google Classroom (hnlhp4q) for ease of reference. I remind you of the criteria for passing the examination: a) those who have submitted an essay will be questioned on the content of the essay related to the course, then a question-and-answer session on part of the slides. Each student will only have 5 minutes to present the essay b) those who have not submitted an essay will be quizzed on the course Slides and a chapter from Robert Mudida's book: reference book: Robert Mudida, An Emerging Africa in the Age of Globalization, 2023 by Routledge. Each student may choose one chapters from the book to be quizzed on. I want to be clear. Not only one chapter of the book but also the slide's contents. Considering that the university closes at 8 a.m., students who fail to be interviewed will be scheduled for another day next week, 28 February 2025. I repeat that I will strictly follow alphabetical order. See you soon and good luck
