Notizie

The core of my research activity is performed at the Flight Mechanics Lab "Michele D. Sirinian" of the School of Aerospace Engineering, Via Salaria 851, 00138, Roma (https://web.uniroma1.it/scuolaingegneriaaerospaziale/flight-mechanics-lab).

Current projects include, but are not limited to

(i) design and implementation of an adaptive control for the time optimal LEO-MEO transfer of a 6U CubeSat

(ii) implementation and experimental testing of an ADCS based o magnetoruqers and reaction wheels (3-axis of pyramid configuration)

(iii) adaptive optimal guidance/control based on MDP

(iv) design of maximum range trajectories for hypersonic vehicles

Students interested in developing their Final Thesis or Stage can send me an email.

I teach Optimal Control and Game Theory in Flight Mechanics (IND-IND/03 ; 6 CFU) and co-teach Aerodynamics of Continuous and Rarefied Flows (ING-IND/06 ; 3/6 CFU) for the Special Master of Aerospace Engineering, provided by the School of Aerospace Engineering.
