Student reception is by appointment only (email si.guidi@uniroma1.it), usually on Tuesdays. The course of History of Modern Philosophy will start on March 3, 2026, at 12AM in Classroom 11 (Aula XI). My only institutional email address is: si.guidi@uniroma1.it.

Curriculum
Simone Guidi is a Senior Researcher in the Institute for the European Intellectual Lexicon and History of Ideas (CNR-ILIESI) at the Italian National Research Council. Previously, he was Assistant Professor of Philosophy in the University of Coimbra’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Portugal. Simone's work focuses on the history of early modern philosophy, with special attention to the thought of Descartes, his sources and legacy. He received the Italian National Scientific Qualification (ASN) both as Full Professor and as Associate Professor of History of Philosophy (11/C5). He is the founder and the editorial coordinator of the Conimbricenses.org project (direction by Mário Santiago de Carvalho), as well as of the international peer-reviewed open access journal "Lo Sguardo" (WoS Journal). He is an editor of the international peer-reviewed journals "Lexicon Philosophicum" (CNR-ILIESI, SCOPUS Journal), "Quaestio" (SCOPUS Journal), and "Azimuth. Philosophical Coordinates"
