FEDERICA BACCINI

Federica Baccini is an Assistant Professor (Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato Tipologia A - SSD: IINF-05/A, Sistemi di elaborazione delle informazioni) at the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering "Antonio Ruberti", Sapienza University of Rome. In 2023 she obtained her PhD in Computer Science at the University of Pisa, defending a thesis with title Analysis of Multiple Relations in Multilayer and Higher-Order Networks. Prior to that, she obtained her Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of Siena. During her PhD, she spent six months as a visiting PhD student at Queen Mary University of London, supervised by prof. Ginestra Bianconi. Her research focuses on the analysis of graph-structured data, with emphasis on their interdisciplinary applications. Her work include the analysis of multilayer and higher-order networks, and the study of machine learning models for graphs. During her academic career, she has collaborated with national and international universities, and she is author of articles published in international peer-reviewed journals, such as Physical Review E, Journal of Informetrics, Scientometrics, Environmetrics.
