1991-98 Ricerca traslazionale sugli effetti delle terapie antiblastiche sul metabolismo delle cellule tumorali
1999- Ricerca nel campo del diabete dell’obesità e dell’invecchiamento. In particolare, sono indagati i meccanismi molecolari alla base dell’insorgenza del diabete tipo 2 delle complicanze vascolari (nefropatia e aterosclerosi) e metaboliche (steatoepatite non alcolica– NASH), nonché dell’aumento del rischio di adenocarcinoma pancreatico associato al diabete;
