- L'Ateneo richiede agli studenti alla fine del corso di compilare il questionario di gradimento (OPIS) sul corso stesso. Le istruzioni sono disponibili tra i materiali scaricabili in italiano e in inglese. Il codice OPIS da inserire per il corso Global Networks and Local Economic Development è [verrà fornito durante il corso] per il corso Geografia Politico-Economica è [verrà fornito durante il corso] .
- Si comunica che i voti d'esame non sono oggetto di negoziazione, si prega quindi di non chiedere alla docente di riconsiderare i compiti e aumentare i voti. Gli studenti non soddisfatti del voto ottenuto possono rifiutarlo e iscriversi all'appello successivo.
- Chiunque desideri rifiutare un voto è pregato di scrivere alla docente entro il termine massimo di 4 giorni dopo l'invio della mail di notifica agli studenti,dopo di allora i voti saranno firmati e non modificabili.
- Il compito d'esame deve essere scritto con grafia chiara e leggibile, a penna, scrivendo il proprio nome e cognome su ogni pagina, non devo essere inseriti messaggi personali per il docente. Va consegnata anche la brutta copia.
- Si prega di non chiedere alla docente di sostenere l'esame in date diverse o con modalità diverse da quelle previste, non sono previste eccezioni per studenti internazionali o in qualsiasi particolare situazione di carriera.

- At the end of the course, the University requires students to complete the satisfaction questionnaire (OPIS) on the course itself. - Please note that exam grades are not subject to negotiation, so please do not ask the teacher to reconsider your homework and increase your grades. Students who are not satisfied with the grade obtained can reject it and register for the next exam.
- Anyone wishing to refuse a grade is asked to write to the teacher within a maximum of 4 days after sending the notification email to the students, after which the grades will be signed and cannot be modified.Students are required to download from the link ONLY the slides of the chosen course (not the slides for the other one)
- The exam assignment must be written in clear, legible handwriting, in pen, with your name and surname on each page. No personal messages for the instructor should be included. A rough copy must also be submitted.
- Please do not ask the professor to take the exam on a different date or in a different manner than those scheduled.There are no exceptions for international students or those with particular career situations.

Students will learn about the theoretical and methodological background needed to understand the spatial and geographical organization of the economy. In particular, students will focus on the most interesting spatial economics issues: regional growth and development; firm location; stages of urbanization and the role of cities in a globalized world; globalization and competitiveness; policies and plans for territorial development. This work will enable students to have an integrated spatial dimension of economics. The theoretical and methodological background to understand the spatial and geographical organization of the economy will enable students to have an integrated spatial dimension of economics.
At the end students can:
- critically describe the transformations taking place in the global socio-economic, political-cultural and technological system;
- autonomously identify the interconnections between analysed transformations of global socio-political and economic systems;
- discuss the policies and initiatives adopted to deal with contemporary challenges
Written examination with open questions, 50 minutes
ALL the texts (4 articles) and the SLIDES are COMPULSORY READING for the exam.
There is no difference in the text list for students attending or not attending the lectures.

Gli studenti acquisiranno le basi storiche e metodologiche necessarie per comprendere l’organizzazione spaziale e geografica dell’economia. In particolare, l’attenzione sarà rivolta ai temi più rilevanti dell’economia spaziale: la crescita e lo sviluppo regionale; la localizzazione delle imprese; le fasi dell’urbanizzazione e il ruolo delle città in un mondo globalizzato; la globalizzazione e la competitività; le politiche e i piani per lo sviluppo territoriale. Questo percorso consentirà agli studenti di sviluppare una visione integrata della dimensione spaziale dell’economia. Le conoscenze teoriche e metodologiche relative all’organizzazione spaziale e geografica dell’economia permetteranno infatti di acquisire una comprensione integrata della dimensione territoriale dei fenomeni economici.
Al termine del corso gli studenti saranno in grado di:
- descrivere criticamente le trasformazioni in atto nel sistema globale socio-economico, politico-culturale e tecnologico;
- individuare autonomamente le interconnessioni tra le trasformazioni analizzate dei sistemi socio-politici ed economici globali;
- discutere le politiche e le iniziative adottate per affrontare le sfide contemporanee.
Modalità d’esame: prova scritta con domande aperte, della durata di 50 minuti.
Tutti i testi (4 articoli) e le slide costituiscono materiale di studio obbligatorio ai fini dell’esame.
Non vi è alcuna differenza nei testi su cui studiare e nell'esame tra studenti frequentanti e non frequentanti.
