Dr. Arianna Granese graduated in 2000 in “Drug Chemistry and Technology”, thesis subject“Synthesis of variously substituted 1,3-diethynylbenzene monomers and their polymeric derivatives”.On December 2000 she received the qualification to exercise the Pharmacist profession.From01.11.2001to 30.11.2004 she completed herPhD in“Pharmaceutical Sciences”, thesis subject:“Synthesis and anti-MAO activity of variously substituted coumarins”.From01.05.2008 to 31.10.2008 andfrom01.01.2006 to 31.12.2007,she was postdoctoral Research fellow at the University of Rome “Sapienza”, Faculty of Pharmacy.From01.11.2008, she is Researcher in Medicinal Chemistryat the University of Rome “Sapienza”, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department Medicinal Chemistry, CHIM/08. She is on “Giunta di Facoltà”for the Researchers (2023/2026),University of Rome “Sapienza”.

Scientific Activity
Dr. Arianna Granese has carried out her scientific works, collaborating with international journalsand participating innumerous conferences.
Her activity can be divided along the lines of research summarized below:
RESEARCH1:Synthesis of compounds with selective inhibitory activity on monoamine oxidase, MAO-A and MAO-B.
RESEARCH2: Separation by HPLC stereoselective chiral molecules active on MAO. In collaboration with the National Institute of Health.
RESEARCH3: Synthesis of compounds active Helicobacter pylori, strains of Candida and Toxoplasma.
RESEARCH4: Development of a novel series of DCH-CORMs as dual-acting therapeutic agents in tendon-derived diseases.
RESEARCH5:Synthesis ofactive compounds as inhibitors/modulators of histoneacetyltransferase(HAT) and their possible applications in the field of epigenetics. In collaboration with Molecular Biology and Pathology Inst, CNR, Rome.
RESEARCH6:Studies of synthesis and reaction mechanism of carbonsuboxide for the formation of molecules with potential biological activity.
