DYNAMICS OF ELECTRICAL MACHINES AND DRIVES
DYNAMIC ANALYSIS AND CONTROL OF AC MACHINES

Students of the subjects Dynamics of Electrical Machines and Drives and Dynamic Analysis and Control of AC Machines are kindly requested to send an email to the professor (fabio.giuliicapponi@uniroma1.it) using their Sapienza email address (surname.studentID@studenti.uniroma1.it) in order to be enrolled in the corresponding Google Classroom. Otherwise they can register directly at the following link:

Classes will be held in presence. The link to attend the class remotely will be activated only if the reservations completely fill in the classroom capability.

ESAMI SESSIONE AUTUNNALE  (English version below)

Gli esami dei corsi di Azionamenti Elettrici, Electrical Energy Conversion from Renewable Sources e Dynamics of Electrical Machines and Drives saranno tenuti in presenza.

ATTENZIONE: Al fine di garantire la pubblicità dell’esame e di consentire a tutti gli studenti una agevole programmazione, le date dell’appello sono state fissate come segue:

  • dall'11 al 26 ottobre

Gli studenti devono prenotarsi su Infostud e rispondere all’appello.

L’appello per tutti gli esami della sessione di ottobre avverrà lunedì 11 ottobre alle ore 9.30.

Tutti gli studenti che vogliono sostenere l’esame all’interno della sessione (cioè anche se vogliono chiedere un rinvio) dovranno rispondere all’appello.

Gli studenti che hanno già sostenuto l’esame ma devono verbalizzarlo, devono comunque prenotarsi su Infostud e rispondere all’appello.

Il calendario degli esami sarà pubblicato con cadenza settimanale.

EXAMS UPDATE – AUTUMN CALL

Exams of the following subjects: Azionamenti Elettrici, Electrical Energy Conversion from Renewable Sources and Dynamics of Electrical Machines and Drives will be held in presence.

NOTE: In order to ensure that the exams are public and to allow students a comfortable programming of their studies, the dates of the call have been fixed as follows:

  • from October 11th to October 26th

Students will need to book their place in advance through Infostud. They are also required to answer the call for attendance.

For all the exams of the October session, the call for attendance will be held on Monday October 11th at 9.30 am.

All the students who intend to take the exam within this call (i.e. even if they would like to postpone their actual examination date) are required to answer to the call for attendance.

Students who only need to register the mark, are still required to book their place through Infostud and to answer the call for attendance.

The exams calendar will be published weekly.

- Marzo 2003: vincitore di una fellowship NATO di due mesi, trascorsi presso la University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA).
- Gennaio 2003 - Agosto 2004: Visiting Scholar presso la University of Wisconsin-Madison, per condurre attività di ricerca sul progetto biennale: Instructional Laboratory Modernization for the Electric Machines and Power Electronics Program (fondi assegnati: $ 1.500.000).
- Luglio 2011: Visiting Professor presso École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne EPFL.

- Dal 2003: Responsabile di un Accordo di Collaborazione Culturale e Scientifica tra l Università degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza e la University of Wisconsin-Madison.
- Dal 2005: Responsabile Erasmus per il Consiglio d Area di Ingegneria Elettrica.
- Dal 2012: Coordinatore locale del corso di Laurea Magistrale Erasmus Mundus Sustainable Transportation and Electric Power Systems , finanziato dalla Comunità Europea.

- Dal 2008 al 2016: Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications.
- Membro dell International Scientific Committee for the European Symposium on Super Capacitors & Applications (ESSCAP).
- General Chair del 3rd European Symposium on Super Capacitors & Applications, ESSCAP 08, Roma (Italy), 6-7 Novembre 2008.
