The final exam consists of preparing, submitting and discussing a written thesis, offering the results of an original work, mainly of theoretical or applied nature.
Students prepare their thesis with the support of a supervisor with whom they choose a topic relating to the degree programme’s courses.
The thesis is the conclusion of students’ learning process and should thus demonstrate that:
- They can adequately apply concepts and tools of Actuarial Sciences and Mathematical Finance, acquired throughout their academic career;
- They are familiar with the relevant national and international literature
