General objectives The student will be able to: - integrate the biological knowledge for the surveillance and the evaluation of the disease, with the care planning, to make the nursing interventions appropriate to the levels of clinical intensity and complexity and correlated to the scientific evidences - apply hygiene rules during care, knowing how to correlate preventive hygiene knowledge to health education that aims to prevent disease and guarantee healthy lifestyles; - to prevent and manage risks for the operator and the patient in the care pathways; - to respond on his / her work during the professional exercise in accordance with the profile, ethics and code of ethics; - in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, to plan clinical care pathways and projects to improve the assistance and services provided through the research methodology and the Evidence Based Practice; - to provide with awareness and responsibility an effective and adequate assistance to the quality standards that respect the rights of the person, of the relatives taking into account the resources available - integrate the knowledge of biomedical and nursing sciences to provide the healthy and sick person in different age groups with individualized global assistance through the nursing process; - to detect, independently and / or in collaboration with other professions, the health needs of the individual and the community. - to plan assistance, manage and evaluate assistance activities. - to establish a relationship of care with the person and relatives, know how to promote and sustain an empathic relationship with the suffering person; - to plan and plan ad hoc educational interventions, knowing how to use effective and understandable languages.
