Frequency
Student attendance at laboratory activities is 100% mandatory. Attendance will be certified by signature sheets located in the simulation room where the professional laboratory activities are carried out.
Exam mode
The exam will consist of a suitability assessment. The assessment will be based on the ongoing program, with reference to the knowledge and skills acquired during the activities carried out in the Simulation Laboratory.
Lesson mode
Lectures with the aid of PowerPoint presentations, videos, and other teaching materials, plus simulation lab exercises, facilitate practical technical learning and the development of clinical skills. Attendance will be certified with a signature sheet. Students who fail to meet the learning objectives set for the year's lab, resulting in a negative grade, must retake the exam. The assessment is conducted at the end of the lab hours, and the exam does not provide a grade out of 30. Instead, the exam is awarded based on an ongoing evaluation, which takes into account: • Active participation in lab activities; • Ability to apply theoretical knowledge to simulated situations; • Technical and practical skills demonstrated during lab exercises; • Autonomy, critical thinking, and teamwork; • Any practical assessments or structured tests scheduled by the instructor during the lab. • The assessment will be expressed as pass/fail.
