Practical hospital internship in outpatient clinics and wards with lower emotional impact, within the Hospital Trust hosting the course, involving observation activities and the performance of basic initial procedures under the supervision of clinical physiotherapist tutors. In this context, the principles of professional practice ethics (autonomy, responsibility, awareness, and scientific knowledge) will be learned and applied.

Students who may access the internship are those who: have regularly attended the theoretical training activities in order to acquire knowledge of the anatomical-functional and musculoskeletal bases of the human body; have regularly attended the laboratory sessions identified as preparatory to the internship. Furthermore, before starting the internship activities, the student must undergo the necessary medical examinations for health surveillance, as well as the training and information required by current legislation on workplace safety.
