PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS

Course objectives

At the end of the workshop of the 1st year, students must: - Be able to organize fun activities that allow to observe the child in the stages of sensorimotor play, symbolic, cognitive, communicative and language skills and the style of writing in different age groups. - Having learned the technical and practical to develop a child's observation skills in the educational context of observation methods using specific and validated protocols. - Having mastered the skills necessary to establish the interaction with the child in a playful dimension that promotes the understanding and assessment of lessons learned on social development and emotional-relational in children. At the end of the workshop of the 2nd year, students must: - Having acquired the technical knowledge to develop a summary of the medical record, to perform a functional assessment of the child's developmental profile. - Having learned the basic principles for the administration of protocols and validated tests and be able to run the scoring of tests for neurobehavioral functional assessment and / or neuromotor and / or neurolinguistic in different age groups. - Having acquired those relational and behavioral skills necessary to build a common language with the child / adolescent and to promote and encourage interaction within the rehabilitation setting. At the end of the workshop of the 3rd year, students must: - Demonstrate that it has acquired the technical and practical knowledge of the most important neuro and psychomotor rehabilitation techniques needed to develop and implement a comprehensive and integrated rehabilitation intervention program for the child / adolescent suffering from developmental disorders. - Having acquired the operational attitude necessary to take care of the child / adolescent with developmental problems. - Knowing how to use, within the setting, the body as a dynamic integration of mental and interpersonal relations functions. - Having acquired the relational and behavioral skills necessary to undertake professional relationships with various healthcare operating figures that make up the rehabilitation team and with parents who belong to the rehabilitation service.
