Students will learn to recognise different types of epidemiological studies, measures of association and risk estimation, and screening tests. In addition, they will learn about systems for acquiring, representing and processing epidemiological data, such as prevalent and incident morbidity, mortality, the concept of lethality, and the endemic and epidemic distribution of diseases.

The course consists of a series of lectures with PowerPoint presentations and practical exercises illustrating the methods explained. The lecture slides are uploaded to Google Classroom.
