Course program
The use of the molecular mechanisms of living organisms in genetic engineering techniques.
Prerequisites
The seminar activity deals with topics that can be better understood only if the course of Biology and Genetics delivered in the same semester has been followed at the same time
Books
Slides and scientific articles relating to the topic carried out in the seminar activity.
Frequency
Frequency is compulsory.
Exam mode
The assessment of learning will take place in the final exam sessions with questions relating to the topic dealt with. The questions concerning the seminar activity will be present among the evaluation questions of the Biology and Genetics module. The questions will have multiple answers with only one correct answer for each question. The correct answer is worth 1 point. Wrong answer is worth 0 points.
Lesson mode
The course is entirely provided as frontal lesson. During the seminary students are encouraged to interact with the teacher by asking questions and discussing the topic of the lesson.

Program - Frequency - Exams

Course program
Seminar and practical test on the role of oxidative stress in cardiovascular pathology. This program will be carried out during the 3° year 1° semester of the CdS with schedule of the lessons published on the website of the CdS in the section dedicated to the timetable of the lessons.
Prerequisites
In order to understand the contents of the course and achieve the learning objectives, at the beginning of the teaching activities provided for by the teaching module the student must possess the knowledge of basic biology and genetics.
Books
There are no texts but only materials provided by the teacher.
Teaching mode
Frontal lessons in class or at a distance based on the COVID-19 emergency.
Frequency
Following the Regulations of the CdS, the student is required to attend educational activities, formal, non-formal, vocational. The attendance is checked by the teachers through signature / roll call, based on updated lists provided by the Academic Office, as established by CCL. The certificate of attendance to the course is mandatory and required to the student to be admitted at the final exam.
Exam mode
To pass the exam it is necessary to pass a written test of suitability at the end of the activity.
Lesson mode
The teacher delivers frontal lectures with traditional methods, with audiovisual aids and scheduling of lessons as reported on GOMP Aule/Orari system, published on the website of the CdS.
