Course objectives

Correct assessment, first reception, and respect of user privacy, analysis and understanding of the radiological request, user acceptance in R.I.S., orientation in the structure and organization of the U.O., inclusion in the equipe, knowledge of radiological equipment and accessories, use of procedures and devices to prevent the risk of ionizing radiation, ability to perform specific techniques chest, bone segments, direct abdomen, MOC, OPT, iconographic verification of the criteria for the correctness of the examination, digital image processing and archiving - R.I.S.-P.A.C.S.

Course program
RAINING I YEAR 1 patient acceptance and welcome 2 inclusion in the RIS 3 orientation in the UOC 4 knowledge of radiological equipment 5 knowledge and use of procedures and protection devices by R.I. 6 Exams of P.S. and standards: chest radiography, bone segments, abdomen, MOC, OPT 7 iconographic verification of the correctness criteria of the radiographic image 8 use RIS-PACS Knowledge and application of investigation techniques and protocols for the osteoarticular study of the main body districts such as the Skull, Thorax, Abdomen, Rachis and Knee. Knowledge of the materials used in diagnostic procedures. Preparation of the radiological room, user acceptance. Acquisition and reproduction of radiological images. Report delivery and CD / DVD service to the patient. SRRM in the RIS and in the PACS. Health physics and quality controls. understand and describe the technical modalities of bone mineral concentration examinations. Computed Tomography Manage the radiological iter for a CT exam. Understand and describe the characteristics of the contrast agents used in TC correlating them to the modalities of use and to specific radiological examinations. Analysis of RIS-PACS image transmission systems used in radiology services.
Prerequisites
In order to understand the teaching content and to achieve the learning objectives, at the beginning of the didactic activities foreseen by the didactic module the student must possess the basic knowledge of radiation physics, human anatomy, biology and computer science.
