Course objectives
Complementary courses freely chosen by the student. During the three years of the course, the student selects the in-depth activities most congruent with his / her learning objectives. In particular, the training offers available today are: - The profession of Radiographers in Europe: lights and shadows - Teleradiology and Telemedicine (teleconsultation, second look, electronic digital file); - Scientific English applied to the Radiological field (being able to describe the diagnostic services of one's workplace and being able to communicate with the Patient) - Neuroradiological anatomy (interactive lessons in the Radiological Section) - Surgical breast anatomy (including the description of the functioning of a Breast Unit)

During the three years of the course, the student selects the in-depth activities most congruent with his / her learning objectives. In particular, the training offers available today are:

Prerequisites
In order to understand the teaching content and to achieve the learning objectives, at the beginning of the didactic activities foreseen by the didactic module the student must possess the basic knowledge of radiation physics, human anatomy, biology and computer science.
Books
The teaching material used by the teachers will be provided. This material serves as a support and guide for studying and preparing for the exam.

The teacher delivers lectures with traditional methods with audiovisual aids and scheduling of lessons as reported on GOMP Classroom /timetable system, published on the website
of the Course.
For the COVID-19 emergency, telematic lessons are scheduled.
Frequency
The teacher delivers lectures with traditional methods with audiovisual aids and scheduling of lessons as reported on GOMP Classroom /timetable system, published on the website of the Course. Following the Regulations of the Course, the student is required to compulsorily attend the teaching and professionalizing activities. The frequency is checked by the teachers through signature updated lists provided by the Didactic Secretariat as established by the CCL, on the Academic Presidency indication, as established by CCL. The certificate of attendance to the teaching course is required to the student to be admitted at the final test.
Exam mode
The oral exam is also available in telematics for the emergency COVID-19.
to pass the exam the student must demonstrate a sufficient knowledge of ionizing radiation physics, a basic knowledge of biology and anatomy and computer science and to be able to describe in detail the different radiological modalities, procedures and techniques with the respective role of the TSRM. To participate in the exam, the student must first have completed the practical internship provided for by the educational system in the number of hours provided. The final exam will be oral and includes assessments for all the modules provided, which will contribute equally to the determination of the final grade.

Frequency
Pursuant to Art.5 of the Didactic Regulations of the Degree Course in Medical Radiology Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques - Course "G", the student is obliged to compulsorily attend the didactic and professionalizing activities of the CdS. Attendance of face-to-face lectures of a number of hours equal to or greater than 67% of the hours assigned to individual modules is required, in accordance with the relevant European regulations. Attendance is verified by lecturers through signature/application sheets on updated lists provided by the Teaching Secretariat in accordance with the CdS, as directed by the Bureau. Attendance certificate for the compulsory teaching activities of a Teaching Course is necessary for the student to take the relevant examination.
