Course program
As part of the module students will be provided with the tools for an adequate and critical knowledge: - of the aetiological factors responsible for the alterations of cell function, and of the cellular and molecular pathogenic mechanisms; - of cell proliferation and apoptosis control; - of the mechanisms of neoplastic cell transformation, and the new approaches of the personalized medicine; - Of inflammation processes and fever - of the Etiology and pathogenesis of immune disorders / autoimmunity, - of the role of transplant immunology, immune deficiencies and hospital infections.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of cell biology, chemistry and physics acquired during high school courses are considered prerequisites.
