Biomedical Laboratory techniques

The course provides nursing students with fundamental knowledge of the role of the clinical laboratory within the diagnostic and care process. It covers the principles of biological sample management, key laboratory analyses relevant to nursing practice, and laboratory safety standards. Particular emphasis is placed on communication between nurses and laboratory technicians, accurate interpretation of laboratory results, and the integration of laboratory data into clinical decision-making. The module also introduces emerging technologies and point-of-care testing as valuable tools to support nursing practice.
