Course program
The internship aims to provide Master's degree students with opportunities to develop skills in advanced professional, managerial, training and research processes in their specific field and in the area of their class.
Internship activities take place at university and/or affiliated healthcare facilities.
The Course Council may identify other non-university facilities where the internship can be carried out, subject to assessment of their educational suitability and subsequent agreement.
The locations must be relevant to the objectives of the Master's degree programme and therefore not only clinical-professional, but also service management, training centres and research centres.
A tutoring system is in place to supervise internships and laboratory activities, with the aim of supporting learning processes in the field and the application of the management, training, professional and research methodologies learned.
Each CFU corresponds to 25 hours.
Internship training programme:
1-Development of projects to develop methodological skills applied to specific contexts, for example:
- starting from a real problem, developing an improvement project; - collaborating on a research project;
- designing and managing a training course, e.g. a lesson or seminar;
- designing an evidence-based course (e.g. starting from a problem/decision, researching evidence, hypothesising implementation strategies for a specific practical context)
2-Field experience in a technical, managerial, training or research service. Field experience cannot be carried out at the student's place of work.
Any absences must be made up. The daily attendance schedule is defined with the professional tutor, taking into account the training opportunities and requirements of the internship location.
Attendance must be certified by the professional tutor on the appropriate form.
