The Master's Degree Course in Diagnostic Technical Health Professions aims to train professionals with advanced skills in management, training, and research processes in areas relevant to the various technical diagnostic professions included in the class (Audiometric Technician, Biomedical Laboratory Technician, Medical Radiology Technician, Neurophysiopathology Technician). The degree program also aims to train professionals who are able to translate scientific advances in diagnostic medicine into clinical practice and participate in research activities within multidisciplinary teams. The curriculum has been designed to meet the needs of the local area and the world of work to train professionals who, in the technical diagnostic field, can competently and professionally take on roles in the management and organization of diagnostic health services, as well as in their training and professional development.
The training program is divided into two years and includes five areas of learning.
• Professional area
• Management-administrative area
• Interpersonal area
• Research area
• Pedagogical and training area.
Upon completion of the Master's Degree Course in Diagnostic Technical Health Professions, professionals will have developed the skills necessary to hold management and coordination positions in public and private healthcare facilities and research institutions, as well as teaching positions in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of healthcare professions.
