Skills Master's degree graduates in Technical Diagnostic Health Professions Sciences possess the following knowledge/skills: preclinical and clinical knowledge useful for training healthcare personnel involved in instrumental and non-instrumental diagnostic activities; basic knowledge of biomedical sciences, in order to make decisions relating to the organization and management of healthcare services provided by personnel with technical healthcare functions in the medical field; understanding the actions of healthcare personnel in their global dimension: social and moral ethics; preparing for the design and implementation of systems for the processing of scientific data, as well as their management and use in various application contexts; use health economics and business organization skills to organize health services and manage available human and technological resources, also evaluating the cost/benefit ratio; accurately verify specific areas of health organization in the technical health field; use research methods and tools in the area of health service organization; plan and improve all activities aimed at managing/acquiring the resources (human, technological, informational, financial) available to healthcare facilities; enhance, within the scope of tutorial and internship coordination activities in basic, complementary, and continuing education, teaching skills for the specific professional role.
Career opportunities The employment opportunities for graduates with a Master's Degree in Technical Diagnostic Health Sciences include public and private healthcare facilities that carry out diagnostic, treatment, care, teaching/scientific research activities and/or have an organizational role. In these settings, Master's graduates can find appropriate professional positions in healthcare management, department management (hospital and university), and healthcare profession management in local health authorities.
