Type I and II diabetes. Thyroid and associated diseases. - Physiopathology of the cardio-circulatory system: hypertension and arterial hypotension; shock, thrombosis and embolism; atherosclerosis.

For a good understanding of the topics covered during the course, the student must have the basic notions of cell biology and biochemistry, as well as general physiology and pathology.
