Nail: anatomy and physiology. The three most common laminar forms. Onychopathies: etiopathogenesis, clinical manifestation, treatment, and differential diagnosis. Onychocryptosis: classification and conservative and surgical treatments. Cutaneous and nail mycoses: notes on mycology. Onychomycoses: etiopathogenesis and main responsible fungi; how to perform the search for positivity (direct microscopy, culture in Dermatest and on Agar plate). Antifungal resistance. Tinea pedis and its treatment. Occupational risks: knowing and preventing them. Thermography as a new investigative tool in podiatric diseases.
