Course program
Medical History, Physical Examination of the Foot, Radiological Imaging: X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), CT (Computed Tomography) scan, Bone scan, Scintigraphy with labeled autologous cells and other tracers for the study of inflammatory processes. PET/CT (Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography) Arteriography
Prerequisites
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Slides Selected book chapters will be recommended during the lectures.
Teaching mode
The course will be delivered through frontal lectures supported by multimedia presentations and dedicated teaching materials. Clinical cases and examples of surgical images/videos will be presented to strengthen the connection between theoretical knowledge and professional practice. Student participation will be encouraged through guided discussion.
Frequency
Compulsory in presence.
Exam mode
The oral exam will assess: The ability to analyze clinical data and formulate accurate diagnoses Knowledge of different diagnostic techniques and their correct application The ability to interpret radiological and other types of images The ability to propose appropriate treatment plans and discuss the various options Clarity and precision in oral communication The ability to engage in critical thinking and problem-solving
