Course program
Provide students with the knowledge and skills to identify a surgical emergency/urgency that has implications for rehabilitation. Recognize the signs and symptoms of critical illnesses: multiple trauma, thoracic and abdominal trauma, and bleeding in the digestive and respiratory systems. Overview of the approach and initial treatment methods for surgical patients with complications in speech therapy rehabilitation. Use the acquired knowledge to recognize the main syndromes. Ability to distinguish and describe tracheotomy and tracheostomy. Acquire the ability to identify a patient with a surgical emergency/urgency.
