Hydraulic Infrastructures

Course objectives

The aim of the course is to provide students with specific knowledge related to road works: • to read and interpretate hydraulic infrastructures project documents (drawings, analyses, calculations and documents, for a road design); • to know the specific site work activities necessary to build and maintain hydraulic infrastructures. Particularly, the materials, the construction site vehicles and the main problems encountered in the organization of the works and in the construction of hydraulic infrastructures are considered. The course is completed by practical exercises.
