Course program
The course proposes the elaboration of the main themes related to the strategic behaviour of a firm, with particular reference to the decision-making process of a viable system and to the analysis of the main operating decisions. Initially, a brief paraphrase of the fundamentals of management will be proposed. This will be preparatory to the analysis and comprehension of the decision-making process followed by the Government, developed and realized in function of the different levels of knowledge owned by those who operate. In particular, the course will describe the concept of knowledge owned by a viable system (or, better, by the Decision Maker that manages it), that is Information Variety as the heritage of Information Resources owned by the subject delegated to decide, which is a key-factor, as it is able to influence the decision-maker in singling out the choice to take. After analyzing the decision making process, an elaboration of the decisional spheres of a firm will be proposed. This elaboration will involve the study of its main functional areas (for example finance, production, organization, marketing, informative systems, etc.).
