The course aims at offering students an understanding of the main challenges and pathways for sustainable development, i.e. economic development that is also socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable. The course allows the students to learn about the latest development program that the international community has agreed to implement by 2030. The module introduces a set of theoretical and practical issues on natural resource management, sustainability, globalization and environmental management.
